This very important program serves those that have served us. Police K9s put their lives on the line for us every day. They need protective gear, such as body armor, eyewear, and bulletproof vests. The K9 Body Armor program fundraises for this gear. Funds from this cause also support emergency veterinary funding for injured Police K9’s

The gift of a bulletproof and stab-proof vest for a Police K9 CAN save a K9’s life by keeping them safer when criminals fight back, in just the same way that these vests protect human officers while on duty.

When a K9 police dog is injured in the line of duty, good medical care is not always a given due to tight municipal budgets. Also, these budgets are often insufficient to provide these canine heroes with the body armor and bullet proof vests that they need. In many situations, especially when the injuries are severe, cities turn to citizens to fundraise for the medical care for an injured K9.

Our goal with the K9 Body Armor collection was to create a symbolic way to show our support for our brave police force and to fundraise for K9 body armor and the medical expenses of our injured K9 heroes. We’ve partnered with GreaterGood.org to contribute these funds where needed. They fought for us, now let’s fight for them!

Plenty of shelters throughout America have more demand for pets than they have animals, yet in other parts of the country there are shelters overrun with animals and not enough funding to keep them alive. These are adoptable animals with many years of love to share with potential owners, yet their lives are ended before they get a chance at a family.

Second Chance Movement™ has partnered with GreaterGood.org to donate travel miles for every product in the Second Chance Movement™ collection to charities that facilitate the transportation of adoptable pets from areas of low-demand to areas of high-demand. Many of these innocent pets are on death row and would have been euthanized in just a few days if they were not rescued.

The donations are provided as a grant from GreaterGood.org to several benefiting charities that provide both air and ground transports from shelters. One such charity is Wings of Rescue, which has saved tens of thousands of lives by arranging transportation of dogs and cats to no-kill shelters and rescue groups.

Volunteer drivers and airplane pilots donate their time and vehicles to transport pets to high-demand areas where they are often adopted in just a matter of days to loving forever homes.

Wings of Rescue often coordinates several trips a month.

Charities like Wings of Rescue put a lot of time into planning and traveling. All of that requires volunteer time and funds for fuel, insurance and other travel expenses. If they had all the funds they needed, “the sky is truly the limit” for how many pet lives Wings of Rescue could save.

The toys vary but we make sure to always provide durable toys that are bully-friendly but suitable for dogs of all sizes – and that our own dogs love!

The toys are distributed through GreaterGood.org. We schedule delivery of these donated toys to GreaterGood.org for distribution. In turn, they arrange for delivery to an array of shelters and rescues alike.

Knowing how important playfulness is to potential adopters, we asked ourselves, how can we increase adoption rates at the shelters for which we already provide food? When we asked shelter workers what they needed most, they told us that one of the key things they desperately needed was high-quality, durable toys for the dogs – after all, adoption rates soar when families see a dog available for adoption joyfully at play.

We knew we could make this happen with the help of our awesome customers! That’s why GreaterGood.org teamed up with iHeartDogs.com for Project Play™. For each toy purchased, we’ll donate a durable toy to a shelter dog in need.

Pets & Vets is a signature program of GreaterGood.org that works with groups around the country to support, sustain, and develop services to improve the lives of veterans, their families, and their pets. Throughout their work with veterans, they began to notice a critical connection to animals, particularly as a way to bring comfort to veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Rescue Bank® supports freight-paid deliveries of pet food to smaller, less visible non-profits that have limited access to resources. They operate on the national food bank model, accepting food donations from many manufacturers, distributors or retailers. Rescue Bank® uses your donations to fund the cost of freight to deliver the food donations to a regional distribution center where it is picked up by pre-qualified non-profit groups.

When you choose an eligible product from the iHeartDogs store, your purchase will fund the transportation of donated food for shelter dogs, effectively feeding them!

Shelters who benefit from these donations can put more of their funds towards getting the word out about their amazing adoptable pets, paying for medical expenses, and providing blankets, beds, toys, etc., making them a bit more comfortable as they wait for their forever home.

At this time, iHeartDogs has chosen to use funds to support animal shelters instead of offering discounts. You can learn more about why we don’t offer coupons here.

All our apparel (T-Shirts, Vnecks and Long Sleeve Shirts) ARE 100% preshrunk cotton with the exception of the following colors:
      • Sport Grey: 90/10 cotton/poly
      • Dark Heather: 50/50 cotton/poly
      • Ash Grey: 99/1 cotton/poly

Our shirts come from the manufacturer “preshrunk”, however we have been told that they can shrink a little during the first wash.

Orders take anywhere from 10-14 BUSINESS days (within the USA) and 3-6 weeks (international) depending on product ordered and final destination.
All non-apparel items and consumables are shipped out within a few business days (M-F)  and delivered domestically within 10 business days (3-4 weeks international).
All of our apparel items do take a little bit longer to process and ship due to each item being hand printed  after it is ordered.  Once the item is pretreated, dried, printed and packaged for shipping it is sent out to you. The above stated times are measured from the time the order is placed with us until it is received by you (and is dependent upon demand).
We do send out a tracking email once it is shipped to you 🙂 If it has been over 20 calendar days since the domestic order has been placed (or more than 4-6 weeks for international shipments) and you have not received, please contact our friendly customer service department at: orders@iheartdogs.com

We would love to help you with any changes to an order, but unfortunately once an order is placed we are unable to “modify” an order (change shirt size, add to an existing order, etc.) Therefore, what we CAN DO is cancel and refund the existing order* so you can then place a new order. It is always best just to place another order if you need to add another item or make any modifications.

*If you need to cancel completely or change an item, please know that we can do this if it’s within an 8 hour window from the time you placed the order. We will do our best to catch these within 8 hours but oftentimes apparel & mug items enter into production quickly and we cannot catch them in time OR before non-apparel items ship.

APPAREL/ MUG ORDERS: Every item in your order is 100% customized just for you and it is printed after you order, so please contact us immediately (as in right now) if you have any questions or issues. It may be too late, but sometimes we can catch your stuff before it’s produced.

When emailing in to cancel your order (if within the 8 hr. window), please put CANCEL ORDER in subject line and send to orders@iheartdogs.com

Tracking numbers are issued by a shipper and then updated during the process. If a tracking number is issued, then it has been accepted and is in process. It can take up to 48 hours to update in a shipper’s system (from the time the tracking # has been assigned and package picked up).

We do send out the tracking email to you after the tracking number has been assigned (and thus picked up by shipper) to allow them time to update in their system and show you progress. In rare occasions, it does take the shipper a little longer to update the progress OR the shipper’s system was unable to get a read on the tracking label as it is doing down a conveyor belt during processing (which in most cases it is still delivered).

 How frequently it is updated with new information depends on the carrier (usually USPS, UPS or DHL). If you are still not seeing anything or if the number cannot be found after this 48 hours from the time you get the email, please contact our customer success team at orders@iheartdogs.com so we can research the situation for you and provide an update.

Mugs are shipped separately in order to secure the item against breakage. You may receive this item before or after your apparel shipment. You should be receiving an email with the specific tracking info as soon as it ships.

YES! We are going to still make sure the dogs get their meals even if you return the item. That’s our pledge to them and we take on that cost personally.

We’re glad you’re asking this question! We’ve found many online stores that claim to donate, but actually do not. We encourage customers to reach out to GreaterGood.org directly if they’d like verification about our monthly donations.

If you received only ONE item and ordered more than one, your order most likely was split between 2 or more of our vendors. We use three different dropshippers that specialize in different designs and items. Because of this, you will get multiple shipments to complete your order.

Please check your receipt that will show from where they are being shipped. If this is the case, then you should be receiving at least two shipments and two different tracking # emails.
